How to Get the Most Out of Your Toothpaste Tube

Thursday, March 06, 2014

Whether you squeeze from the bottom, middle or near the opening, it’s always tricky to get the last drops of toothpaste out of the tube.

The line is often blurred between when to keep working at it and when to give up and start a new tube. Thanks in part to the crafty use of a rubber band, you can maximize your usage.

Begin with two small wooden sticks and two rubber bands. Bind the two sticks together with a rubber band on each side and place on the edge of the toothpaste.

When you dispense the toothpaste on your brush, do so by slightly pushing the wooden sticks down the tube. Be careful, it will not take much movement!

As the wooden sticks gradually roll across, you will notice that most of the tube it has rolled over is empty.
