Keep Your Mail Together With Rubber Bands
“What a wonderful thing is the mail, capable of conveying across continents a warm human hand-clasp.” Anonymous
Who doesn’t love a sincere thank you note or a heart felt letter… Whether it’s for pleasure or business, most news from the mailman is received with great interest.

When mail arrives, we usually have a special place reserved for it. Maybe it is the desk in the back room or that storage box near the kitchen. Wherever you put your mail, odds are, you’ll need a rubber band to help keep it organized and bundled.
Placing a rubber band around several items will also alert the mailman that your documents require special attention. You can trust that rubber bands will help get your documents routed in the right direction.
However you use your bands, make sure to dispose of them properly. Or, create a special place to store them for use again when needed.
Different size bands will help with differing amounts of mail. So, keep several sizes around for your convenience.

Good idea...my mail is everywhere
and often slips behind things and is lost. Love the idea of using a different color band for different categories of mail. Thanks!

We organize our mail according to subject- bills in one place and personal letters in another place. I love getting mail.
I have an old fashioned mail holder in my living room, it's cute, its stylish and it's functional. It's the perfect place to hold my mail and bands keep all my important mail from being scattered.
Interesting article.. I never knew that wrapping a couple of rubber bands around your mail would let them know it needed special attention
Between rubber bands, duct tape, and super glue, I can handle just about anything
I;m not sure I believe that rubber banding my mail will alert the mailman to anything. The USPS treats all mail the same.
Rubber bands are recycled in my house to organize mail. What a wonderful invention!
i toss junk mail before i go inside the house, i take care of anything important right away and toss everything that i don't need afterwards!
I didn't know that about mail - I can make sure my netflix envelopes get special attention!
I prefer to put all my bills together like this, and then "lose" them all at once. Just kidding, but I wish I could lose them.
I write out my sweepstakes entries once a week and use rubber bands to put daily entriues together marking stamp area of date to be mailed.

I'm going to make a special place for our mail also as it tends to get mixed up with other mail. Thanks for the tip.
