Top Box Office Film features Alliance Rubber Product

Roll out the red carpet! An Alliance Rubber product has appeared in another Hollywood movie. Lone Survivor is the latest film in which a product of ours has starred.

In the movie you will frequently see our crepe parachute bands used by the SEALs on the Load Bearing Equipment (LBE) around their shoulders and upper body. They utilize these like our STRAC Bands to silence and secure their gear.

“Lone Survivor” tells the true story of Marcus Luttrell, the Navy SEAL who survived a mission in Afghanistan in which 17 SEALs lost their lives. The movie opened to nearly $38 million in its weekend debut – the second-highest all-time weekend gross in the month of January. According to Universal, it was awarded an “A+” CinemaScore across all quadrants.

While we don’t think our appearance will qualify us for an Oscar, that won’t stop us from going to catch “Lone Survivor” in theaters.
