HOT SPRINGS, AR., March 7, 2008 – Alliance Rubber Company celebrates its 85th anniversary, and thanks employees, customers and vendors for their support throughout the years.
Founded in Alliance, Ohio in 1923 by William H. Spencer, Alliance has been respected as makers of the finest rubber bands and banding products. The company has grown to be the world’s largest manufacturer in its product class and currently serves the USA, Canada and over 30 foreign countries with more than 20 million pounds of bands annually. If these bands were laid end-to-end, they would encircle the globe 50 times.
Alliance makes or 2000 varieties of bands and serves as proprietary distributor for ProTape® and related dispensers for produce and floral applications. They are one of only three band manufacturers remaining in the USA. This is attributed to the exemplary quality and superior craftsmanship of its 200 associates.
