HOT SPRINGS, AR., April 4, 2006, Alliance Rubber Company, a leading global supplier of rubber bands, office and packaging supplies, was featured “John Ratzenberger’s Made In America” on The Travel Channel.
“If you want to know America, you’ve got to meet the folks who work in factories and workshops. People who make real things and take pride in what they do. And then, you have to go in there with them to see how it’s done. So, that’s what I did. I poked around every corner… More of this country — big cities, small towns, and whatever was in between — looking for the soul of America,” said John Ratzenberger. So begins every episode of The Travel Channel original series, Made in America, hosted by everybody’s favorite mailman from Cheers. Produced in cooperation with the Reader’s Digest Association, the show follows Ratzenberger as he treks across the country in a camper to learn the ins and outs of some of America’s favorite material possessions. Each episode spotlights three such products, with Ratzenberger visiting the factories of two and providing a history lesson on the third.

John Ratzenberger’s Made in America is an American documentary television series hosted by John Ratzenberger. The series premiered January 6, 2004, on the Travel Channel. Ratzenberger visits various American manufacturers, taking the show’s viewers along on the tours and showing how various everyday items are made.
