ALLIANCE RUBBER COMPANY CAN ASSIST ALL BUSINESSES IN ACHIEVING THEIR ENVIRONMENTAL
GOALS
March 19, 2010 – Hot Springs, AR – To help combat the negative environmental impact of office waste, Alliance Rubber Company announced the launch of their new “Reusable Solutions” line of rubber bands. This development marks Alliance’s latest innovation in cost-effectively assisting its customers to meet their environmental goals.
Recognizing that rubber is a valuable resource that should be reused, Alliance offers these products to give users the ability to reduce costs as well as their environmental impact. This development conserves natural resources and is consistent with Alliance’s goal to reduce the environmental impact of their quality office, mailing and packaging products.
“Going green has become an important trend in the corporate world,” says President, Bonnie Swayze. “Rubber bands have unlimited uses. They can also be used to hold wallets, checkbooks, CD’s, DVD’s, video games or even to bundle products for retail.” Swayze believes these products “send the right message . . . that of caring about the environment and the long term effects of their company’s actions.”
A recent study by Malcolm Pirnie Inc., a leading environmental engineering firm, shows that reusing 10 pounds of rubber instead of virgin rubber prevents approximately 10 pounds of CO2 being released into the atmosphere. In addition, the consumption of oil (which is used in the manufacture of synthetic rubber) falls by one gallon.
