We recently came across an article about creative uses for plastic grocery bags. We learned how a plastic bag and a rubber band can be used as a paintbrush and roller preserver.
All you need to do is place the brush or roller in a bag and tie it or wrap it with rubber bands to keep air out. Your brushes and rollers will stay moist and protected for a day or so.
So the next time an emergency (kid gets sick at school; Justin Timberlake is Jimmy Fallon’s special guest) steers you away from the job, you can “brush” it off and resume with ease.
