Last month ABC talk show host Jimmy Kimmel requested for kids and parents to send in clothing items created from rubber band loom kits, promising he would wear an item on the show. True to his word, last night Kimmel paraded around the set in his colorful suit.
Kimmel joked that “each and every one of his body hairs was caught in a rubber band,” even calling himself “98% rubber.”
What makes his attire special is that it’s being used to help raise money to fight childhood cancer. The suit is up for auction on eBay, and the proceeds will benefit the MaxLove Project, a non-profit inspired by Max Wilford, 7, who is fighting brain cancer. Wilford appeared on last night’s episode and received a loom cape from Kimmel.
As of the publication time of this post, the bidding has climbed to $10,150.
