Display Memories on a Bulletin Board of Rubber Bands

Wednesday, November 20, 2013

We all have things we want to put on display, especially things that involve our children. Plenty of people document what goes on in their lives by creating photo albums, memory boxes or bulletin boards.

The only downside of a bulletin board is that the pins can easily fall out, and stepping on one could hurt you or your child. Luckily rubber bands offer a painless alternative.

A couple years ago mommy blogger Jill Krause wrote about how she used our Supersize Bands™ to create a Rubber Band Memo Board.

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Select a piece of plywood or a large cardboard cutout.
  2. Wrap the 17” blue bands around the longest part of the board.
  3. On the shorter side, weave the whole rubber band across the front and wrap on the edge.

Bonus step: Staple the rubber bands on the back of the board to keep them in place.

You are now ready to document memories on a bulletin board safe for children.
